Acer shirasawanum 6910 / Holland
This a a superior hardy JM with outstanding color and form .. I would put it with the best of the Shirasawanum, although some think this may be a cross between a Shirasawanum and a Palmatum ?? .. I have been trying to get it for years and have finally found a pipeline . If you're looking for a super hardy gorgeous tree for zone 5, look no further.. highly recommended. It is similar to Mr. Sun but with a broader leaf, a bit bigger, AND MORE UPRIGHT .. and more of a small tree than shrub. As I have grown this tree for a bit I think it is a very good one.
