It is a boffo Japonicum with very large leaves, I think larger than Vitifolium the largest of the large until now and cool spring as well as stunning fall colors... a fairly fast grower( faster than many Japonicum's) and just simply stunning in form and stature.Has HUGE leaves, If you want a REALLY BIG leaf cultivar that has boffo fall color this one is for you
