Acer palmatum Akegarasu
This is a smaller sturdy tree. It has large leaves for a palmatum cultivar. It also has dark red or red black leaves especially in spring .. A good contrast tree for other red planted cultivars . It is hardy and a perfect smaller landscape tree with distinction. As I have seen this tree more I think it is a must have . Very nice takes sun pretty well and has neat fall colors . Shape fullness and leaves are very appealing..it's a winner
